The "Ball Pinion" is used as a drive mechanism for Cartesian coordinate robots, laser processing machines, various inspection devices, and more. Utilizing the "Monozukuri Subsidy" for the fiscal year 2013, we embarked on the development of a linear drive device that operates with a unique mechanism, and in 2015, we developed a proof-of-concept model for the new mechanism's operating principle. Since then, with support from the national government and Aichi Prefecture, we have developed the commercially available "Plate Slider Type: Ball Pinion."
